TUMBLING CLASS OPTIONS:
RECREATIONAL TUMBLING
Our Recreational Tumbling classes teach skills like rolls, flips, and handsprings, focusing on fun and safety. Under the guidance of an instructor, participants will learn and practice tumbling techniques in a supportive, non-competitive environment.
PARENT & TOT
For kids ages 1.5 to 3, this hands-on class requires one adult per child to actively participate. Our safety-certified instructors focus on tumbling basics, core strength, balance, and flexibility, while introducing the joy of movement through play, songs, and circuits.
BEGINNER 2
For boys and girls aged 5 and up, or younger if skills are met. Students should have mastered cartwheels, handstand rolls, and backbends. This class focuses on roundoffs, standing up from a backbend, and kickovers
CHEER TUMBLE
Ideal for new cheer athletes, this 1-hour class covers the basics of cheer, including jumps, stunts, and tumbling. No uniform is required.
PRIVATES
KPTC offers private lessons in 30 or 60-minute sessions for all skill levels. We specialize in advancing tumbling and cheer skills from the basics to the next level.
TUMBLE BUG
For boys and girls ages 3-5, this class strengthens locomotor skills, balance, flexibility, and body control. Kids will learn basic tumbling moves like rolls, handstands, bridges, and cartwheels while practicing social skills like sharing, listening, and taking turns.
LIMBER
This class is for boys and girls progressing from beginner to advanced beginner. The focus is on back walkovers, front limbers, and introducing flip-flops.
NINJA
Our Ninja class helps kids build strength, coordination, and stamina through obstacle courses, in-ground trampolines, and double minis.
FAST PASS
Looking to advance quickly in a small group? This private class for up to 5 athletes is perfect for focused skill development!
BEGINNER 1
This class is for boys and girls aged 5 and up, or younger if skill requirements are met. Students should have mastered rolls and begun basic cartwheels. The class focuses on perfecting cartwheels, handstand rolls, and backbends.
FLIP FLOP
For boys and girls who have mastered front limbers and are working on flip-flops. This class focuses on perfecting flip-flops, round-off flip-flops, tucks, and more.
SENSORY
This class is designed for neurodivergent children with motor delays, sensory, or visual sensitivities. It encourages socialization and motor skill development in a supportive gym setting, offering a safe space for families to connect and engage in sensory-focused activities.

COMPETITIVE TUMBLING
Our programs are for athletes ages 3 and up. Team classes focus on tumbling, trampoline skills, conditioning, and flexibility. Teams compete multiple times a year in Illinois and may qualify for the National Championship, with locations varying yearly. Athletes work on advanced skills and are encouraged to join year-round. Team classes meet twice a week and instill valuable life skills.
PRE TEAM
This 3-hour weekly class includes Sub-beginner, Beginner, and Advanced Beginner levels, focusing on tumbling, trampoline, and double-mini skills.
USAG
This group meets 9 hours per week and includes athletes at Sub-Advanced through Elite levels. Our program is the only gym in central Illinois that offers athletes the ability of competing in USTA & USAG events, with staff experienced in coaching at the international level, including competitions in Russia and Bulgaria.
TEAM 2
This 5-hour weekly class focuses on tumbling, trampoline, and double-mini skills for Sub-Novice, Intermediate, and Sub-Advanced levels.
TEAM 1
This team meets 6 hours per week, building on skills from Team 2. It’s for athletes at Sub-Advanced through Elite levels.
